The Castile La Mancha region continues to be the leading European wine region. According to Eurostat statistics, the European vineyards were designed on a model of smaller areas. The Spanish province of Castile-La Mancha is now the top European wine region with 433,616 ha. It is almost nearly twice size of the Roussillon-Languedoc region. The top 10 wine region:
